For Fall 2022, we welcome you to events in Pittsboro, NC and Durham, NC. The first is the beginning of a long-standing dream to reach out to new communities. The second is a return to our roots. We will have the same programming at each location, so plan to come to the one that works for you.
Since our launch in 2014, Audio Under the Stars has been bringing people together to celebrate audio storytelling. We’ve always sought to highlight the work of independent audio producers, share beloved pieces, honor talent, and build community with listeners and producers alike.
We are so excited to do all this (and, we hope, more) in new places, welcoming new audiences along with old friends.
Hope This Finds You Well: Stories of Taking Care in Tough Times
In our first live show since the pandemic began, we’ll explore stories of resilience and connection. You can expect unexpected companions, reflections on what it means to be well, and a chance to celebrate the odd and wonderful ways we found solace during the pandemic. Along the way we’ll try to navigate the limbo of life online and consider what it might cost to keep a promise to an old friend.
Bring a comfortable chair or something to stretch out on and travel with us to surprising and enlightening places from the comfort of your own picnic blanket.
